Yes, this is the man

We are making plans to move to Oz next year and while the plan is for me to do the Martha Stewart, it doesn’t stop me from having wild ideas..

Me: I just thought of a great money making idea for Oz. I could knock on the neighbours’ doors and threaten to do a striptease. Think of all the money I could make from them just paying me not to do it. I’d just need to go door to door, say ‘hello’ and collect the payments.

He: No no… To save time, they can just deposit into your account.

Me: *screams with laughter* Exactly! I’d only show up for those who don’t make payment… *pretends to speak to neighbour: ‘So, Mr Longman, there is an outstanding payment from you. I’m afraid I’d have to…’ pretends to be ‘Mr Longman’ who looks all panicky: ‘No, no, please! My wife was ill so she couldn’t go to the bank yesterday! I’d pay tomorrow!!’

He: *raises his eyebrowTomorrow’?

Welcome to the land of … big boobs.

The one thing I am sure you will enjoy, is that you will easily find clothes your size. At 1.7+m and 68kg, my wife is just slightly smaller than I am, but it’s not easy to find clothes her size back home.

Enjoy the summer dresses, they look good on a larger frame and are incredibly popular here.

M: Haha!!I am really looking forwardto more ‘fashion possibilities’. PS: Your wife has an enviable physique!

PPS: with regards to your other post about ‘Women’, I guess I am one of the rarities who is not entirely a fan of the current regime here.

Re: Enviable physique >> Its official, 1 in 2 Australian adults are technically overweight. We are not far behind the Americans now… so yes, her physique is quite enviable by local standards.

Re: Not a fan of the regime >> I guess you would have formerly encountered some difficulties as a single mother or working while pregnant, hmm?

Just a bit curious, though… the current backlog for offshore PR applications is at least 3 years long. 4-5 years would be a realistic wait for a fresh application now. So I surmise you guys should have applied for your visas quite a while ago.

Unless you guys have been hired on the 457 visa, which, given your age and experience, would be a possibility.

Mind if I enquire where your family will be living?
